Fluid Power previews the forthcoming Pumps
and Systems China 2005 exhibition, to be held in
Shanghai and the surprises in store for shoppers
Pumps and Systems China (PSC) 2005 - the
forthcoming 6th International Exhibition on
Fluid, Air and Gas Handling Systems and
General Machinery shall include a new segment on
general machinery presenting an important link for
industrial suppliers.
To be held from July 13-16, at the Shanghai New
International Expo Centre (SNIEC), the four-day
exhibition expects over 500 participating companies
from more than 40 countries drawing over 20,000
industry experts and traders including from China and
the Asia-Pacific region as well. With nearly 70 per cent
of exhibitors coming from overseas, PSC 2005
promises to live up to its international standards.
The exhibition shall comprise of two components,
namely Fluid Machinery and General Machinery. The
profiles in each component include:

PSC 2005
shall present both local and foreign
enterprises with an opportunity to launch new
products, reach out to ready and potential buyers,
appoint agents and distributors, build brand
awareness and establish business networks. An
international marketing platform, all businesses in
the industrial, manufacturing and engineering
industry should avail of this opportunity to make
their presence felt in China.
The PSC series has proven itself to be one of the
best trade events in China with an impressive track
record of participating exhibitors and visitors since its
inception in 1995. Last year, the exhibition showcased
a total of 307 participants of which 70 per cent were
from 39 countries registering a record of 8,319
visitors. PSC 2003 also hosted national pavilions from
USA, Germany and Korea, enhancing its stature as an
international event.
You can expect a much bigger show this time
though at the new exhibition grounds in Shanghai that
will cover a total of 11,000 gross exhibition space - a
sharp increase of 5,000 gross space from the previous
PSC 2003 to include participation from national
