Controller and installation modules for CPX terminals:
To simplify machine installation and reduce the wiring complexity of
control systems as well as provide convenient diagnostics, as well as
monitoring and maintenance Festo has come up with two new modules for
direct installation into CPX terminals. These are the CPX-FEC, specialist
in matters communications and control, and the CPX-CP interface for
optimal system structures. With CPX-FEC, control functions can be solved
directly on the spot without any need for an additional PLC owing to
the fact that the new module integrates the tried and tested technology
of Front End Controller FEC into the modular electrical terminal CPX.
The result is a multifunctional control technology for a broad spectrum
of applications – from manual workstations to highly automated
car production. Quick pre-processing via the fieldbus or Ethernet is
equally possible as is its use as a programmable valve terminal in standalone
mode or direct actuation via Ethernet in remote I/O mode. Tailor-made
for any application, this sturdy mini controller can be combined in
any way with CPX-EA and technology modules and fieldbus nodes.
Hydraulic vane pumps
SM Shah offers imported hydraulic vane pumps and
cartridge kits, equivalent in design and quality with Vickers-make cartridge
kits and fully compatible with single and double vane pumps. These cartridges
can be used as replacement parts for fixed displacement V and VQ series
vane pumps. All parts are fully interchangeable with Vickers products.
The cartridges are available in both, 12 vanes design for industrial
applications and 10 vanes design for mobile applications with higher
pressure and wider range of speed. These Vickers series are available
in cartridge kits of 20 V/VQ (5, 8, 11, 12, 14 GPM), 25 V/VQ (14, 17,
21 GPM), 35 V/VQ (30, 35, 38 GPM) and 45 V/VQ (42, 50, 60 GPM) and can
be used in 2520V, 3525V, 4525V and 25V pumps. These kits consist of
inlet support plates, outlet support plates, CAM rings, slotted rotor
splined to the shafts and 12 vanes with intravanes fitted into the rotor
slots. With proper maintenance these cartridges operating not only at
low noise levels but are also longlasting. These are particularly used
in injection moulding machines, die casting machines and earthmoving
equipment.
New MPA valve system
The ideal valve technology for any
automation task-this is the maxim that has been adopted for this new
valve series from Festo demonstrating its strengths wherever flexibility
is in demand. With help of threaded connectors, all components –
including valve units, electronic modules and pressure supply modules
– can be mounted on subbases and assembled into individualised,
lowmaintenance solutions, that can be quickly modified and expanded
if necessary on-site without removal from the system.
