Parker’s lubricator system
The new Moduflex filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL)
system from Parker Hannifin is enhanced with a host of user-friendly
features This greatly aids in the selection of air preparation systems.
Applicable to nearly all compressed air preparation applications, the
system features one-piece body units that can be joined using Parker’s
patented Cliplok system.
The Cliplok fastener helps to build combinations of units much faster
as compared to traditional systems. The filter units feature a one-piece
body and condensate the receptacle design which is unique. This one-piece
snap-and-fit filter element cartridge can be easily removed and replaced
as and when needed. Moduflex60 FRL series filters feature five-micron
elements as a standard with a 40-micron option. The regulator and filter
units feature rolling diaphragms, thereby ensuring consistently maintained
downstream pressure as well as long lasting service. The full range
of Moduflex60 FRL accessories includes a number of combined soft start-dump
valves, shut-off valves, optional port block kits, manifold blocks and
diverter manifolds.

 Norgren’s
new angle seat pilot valves
Norgren, the motion and fluid control specialist,
has recently introduced new versions of its 84500 and 84520 series angle
seat pilot valves. Developed to deliver engineering advantage to customers
who have limited installation space in their fluid control projects,
the new electro pneumatic flow regulating valves combine the valve,
displacement gauge and electronic control in a single compact unit.
Designated as the 84720 and 84740 models the devices are manufactured
from high-grade stainless steel and featuring a brass valve body the
units are ideal for deployment in aggressive, gaseous, liquid and vaporous
fluid environments in the temperature range of 14°F to 356°F.
Operation of the valve is made easy via the control electronics user-friendly
guided menus. A valve can be regulated directly from a PLC or can be
operated manually. The units are suitable for a pressure rating of 58
to 87 PS1. The valves deliver competitive advantage to the customer
due to the minimal use of compressed air. Once the required position
is reached the controller does not use air thus saving the cost of this
medium. In the event of a power failure or loss of control air the valve
switches into a defined closed mode and executes the automatic shut
off function.

Monoflange assemblies Kenmac Series slimline process
monoflange assemblies replace multi-valve assemblies with single manifold.
Block, block-and-bleed, and double block-and-bleed units are available.
User can choose from bolted bonnet, outside screw and yoke bolted bonnet,
and integral screwed needle valve assemblies. Two-valve isolating and
venting gauge block monoflange is available for instrumentation applications.
All are rated to pressures of 150-2,500 lb class according to ANSI B16.5.
A full range of monoflanges including block, block-and-bleed and double
block-and-bleed flanged manifolds are available in the market.
Customers can choose from bolted bonnet, outside screw and yoke (OS
& Y) bolted bonnet and integral screwed needle valve process monoflange
assemblies. A two-valve isolating and venting gauge block monoflange
is available for instrumentation applications. All are rated to working
pressures of 150 lb class to 2500 lb class according to American National
Standard Institute’s standard B16.5.
